3 star burger, 1 unhinged jaw
I had lunch here yesterday, and my review is strictly based on their lunch food only. To be honest, the pancakes that they pride themselves in smelled delicious.
We were seated in a cozy booth (i.e. Really, really tight, I'm a tiny tot, but it was even restrictive to me, my husband was downright uncomfortable). The service was very good, friendly and quick.
My husband had a grilled chicken and mushroom sandwich, and he liked it just fine. I had a bacon, avocado cheeseburger. It was so huge, you couldn't get your jaws unhinged to get a bite. It was a bit over cooked which yielded the patty a bit tough and flavorless. I realize that there is a fine line between under and over cooked, however they certainly crossed that line and then some.
The French fries were crisp and nicely seasoned. They were quite good!
I believe our bill was around $32.00 with tax and tip, which is a bit pricey for burgers and fries. I don't mind shelling out cash for a particularly good meal, however this certainly did not seem worth the price.
